OLYMPIC gymnast Beth Tweddle is urging people to support Winsford’s St Luke’s Hospice by taking part in the Run or Dye 5k colour run.
The event at Cholmondeley Castle on Saturday, August 2, will see people complete the course while being showered in powered dye every kilometre – turning runners into a technicolour canvas by the end of the event.
Entrants are encouraged to wear white to show off the colours they collect on the way, or get into the spirit with fancy dress.
“St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice is my local hospice and my family have supported the famous Midnight Walk over many years,” said Beth.
“I’m excited about the Run or Dye 5k race and would urge people to get involved.”
Once participants crossed the finish line there’s more fun to be had at the Finish Festival, featuring DJs and even more coloured powder.
