THE Cantoris chamber choir return to Winsford for a special performance conducted by Ken Fayle next month.
The Frodsham based group will perform a collection of songs during a concert entitled ‘Simple Gifts’ at St Chad’s Church, Winsford on Saturday, November 1.
Starting at 7.30pm, renditions of John Rutter's ‘The Sprig of Thyme’ as well as songs and sacred music by Thomas Tellis, Eric Whitacre, Leonard Cohen, John Tavener, the Beach Boys will feature.
A setting of ‘The Gift to be Simple’, arranged by Bob Chlcott, will be another highlight.
£5 payable on the door .All proceeds will be in aid of St Chad's Church.
