FATHER Christmas will get a helping hand as staff from Asda Winsford will be supporting St Luke’s Hospice by taking part in this year’s Santa Dash.

The event will take place at Oulton Park in Tarporley on December 7, starting at 10am until 3.30pm.

Participants, who will be provided with a Santa outfit, can take part in the fun 3k or 5k Santa Dash and can choose to run, walk, skip or jog to the finishing line.

Caroline Cocklin, Asda community champion, said: “We can’t wait to get our Santa outfits on, and raise money for such a great cause, while having heaps of fun.”

After the dash has taken place there will be plenty of festive activities including festive food, gifts stalls, festive face painting and a number of free children’s activities

For those who like a challenge – of the food variety – they can join in the Santa v Mince pie challenge.

Oulton Park chequers restaurant will also be open.

Melissa Newland, senior event fundraiser said: “This year’s Santa Dash will be a fantastic family Christmas experience.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to Asda for their continued support.”
