TICKETS are now available to see the NeuroMuscular Centre’s Spirit of Christmas concert.

The magical, star-studded evening will take place at Chester Cathedral on Friday, November 27.

The NeuroMuscular Centre’s annual Christmas concert is now in its 20th year, and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Former Stars in Their Eyes host Matthew Kelly, the charity’s president, will host the evening and brings with him a collection of actors from stage and screen to perform festive readings.

The concert will feature performances from Roberts Bakery Brass Band and the Queen’s School Chamber Choir as well as an array of actors.

Already confirmed is Carolyn Pickles (Professor Charity Burbage in Harry Potter, Shelly Williams in Emmerdale), Georgia Taylor (Dr Ruth Winters in Casualty), Brian Protheroe (Samuel Walker in Spooks and currently performing with the Royal Shakespeare Company) and Victoria Wicks (Dorothy Clarke in The Imitation Game).

Previous line-ups have included Hollywood star Benedict Cumberbach, Carey Mulligan, Sir Derek Jacobi, Jim Broadbent, Alison Steadman and Alan Rickman to name but a few.

All of the proceeds from the event will go towards the NeuroMuscular Centre.

The Winsford-based charity provides a range of services for young people and adults with muscular dystrophy, a severe and debilitating muscle wasting condition.

Ticket prices for the NeuroMuscular Centre’s 20th anniversary concert start at £12.50.

For £50, enjoy Central Nave seating for a fantastic view of the concert, plus the opportunity to mingle with the celebrities in a Champagne and canapé Reception at the Cathedral’s Refectory.

Doors will open at 7.00pm and the concert will begin at 7.30pm.
