A WINSFORD mum and businesswoman has been nominated for a national award.

Heather Scott-Robinson, director of Acappella PR, based in Winsford, is in the running for a BizMums Award for ‘exceptional service’ in her profession.

The nomination was based on positive reviews from clients and colleagues from the UK and across Europe.

Heather said: “I’m absolutely over the moon and it’s humbling to hear such feedback on the job you do.

“Running my own business has been one of the most challenging but rewarding things I have done.

“I love the flexibility it gives me to spend time with my 15-month old daughter and being part of BizMums has given me an amazing support network.”

Heather founded Acappella five years ago and now has clients across the UK and Europe.

She was also recently taken on by Amy Wordsworth, Dragons’ Den winner and founder of Good Bubble children’s toiletries.

Amy said: “Heather has been a pillar of support throughout my Dragons’ Den experience, striking the perfect balance of professionalism with a completely personal service.

“Aside from her exceptional PR work in which she has secured both local and national coverage, she consistently goes above and beyond her remit to offer advice and support in whatever way she can.”

The winners will be announced at the Bizmums conference and awards event at The Manor House Hotel in Alsager on Oct 17.
