A CHURCH of England Primary school in Winsford was rated ‘outstanding’ in a recent inspection.
St Chad’s Church of England Primary school was subject to a rigorous Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAM) inspection in January.
Inspectors said the school is ‘extremely successful in creating a loving, caring and inclusive Christian environment, which has a direct influence on the children’s wellbeing and academic success’.
Cllr David Armstrong, chairman of Governors at St Chad’s and Cheshire West and Chester cabinet member for legal and finance, said: “This is an outstanding inspection report.
“The parents and carers of children at St Chad’s Primary School can feel immensely proud of their children’s achievement.
“All staff, teaching and non-teaching have made a huge contribution to bringing about this success under the leadership of the head teacher Natalie Tomlinson.”
The report highlighted the outstanding progress that has been made in two years.
Cllr David Armstrong said the school has gone from ‘strength to strength’.
In summary, the inspector said: “St Chad’s Church of England Primary School is a very special place where children flourish.
“St Chad’s is a forward thinking school; there is a fully inclusive ethos throughout and it is a real delight to visit.”
