WINSFORD residents have a chance to view David Cameron lock horns with MPs from around the country.

Each week at noon on Wednesday when the House of Commons sits, sees the Prime Minister face a grilling from Members of Parliament from all political parties on any issue they wish to raise.

For the leader of the opposition it is their opportunity to question the Prime Minister directly across the Despatch Box leading to often fraught and tense scenes.

Prime Minister's Questions is widely regarded as the show piece of high drama in the House of Commons.

Antoinette Sandbach, MP for Eddisbury, is running a ballot to allocate two tickets to view a Prime Minister's Questions session live on Wednesday, March 23.

Ms Sandbach said: “Prime Ministers Questions shows the cut and thrust of politics up close each week in the Commons and I encourage the residents of Eddisbury to apply for the ballot to win the two tickets to come to the Houses of Parliament and see Prime Minister’s Questions.”

To enter the ballot send the name and address of two individuals to vanessa.higham@parliament.uk along with a contact telephone number and email address.
