WINSFORD MP Antoinette Sandbach has given her views on the result of the EU referendum, saying the decision is ‘momentous’.
The MP for the Eddisbury constituency was a supporter of the remain campaign in the lead up to the referendum, which was held yesterday.
Following the result of 51.9 per cent of voters opting for Britain to leave the European Union, and 50.7 per cent support a ‘Brexit’ in Cheshire West and Chester, Antoinette says it will have 'huge impacts' on her constituency.
“It is clear that Cheshire voted leave,” Antoinette said. “I respect that decision, it is a momentous one which will have huge impacts on the constituency. We need stability and time to see how we can make this work for Eddisbury and for Britain.”
