Firefighters tackle Winsford fire in Beckenham Grove
FIREFIGHTERS were called to put out a fire in Winsford last night.
One fire engine from Winsford Fire Station was called at 10.15pm to Beckenham Grove where two mattresses were ‘well alight’.
The fire was in an open within a street grove.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
This comes less than a week after an arsonist set two industrial bins on fire at Winsford Mid Cheshire College which spread to the college building.
