WINSFORD-BASED NeuroMuscular Centre will be hosting its next Wag ‘n’ Walk fundraising event again next month.

The popular sponsored dog walk will be held at Delamere Forest on Sunday, October 9, and will be raising money for the centre, which supports adults and young people with muscular dystrophy from across the Cheshire and wider region.

The walk will consist of a leisurely stroll around the accessible 2.7-mile route in Delamere Forest, which meanders through the forest as well as taking in the sights of Blakemere Moss and follows the Blakemere Trail.

The walk will be followed by a raffle and awards for best dressed, best behaved dogs and most money raised.

Amy Swatkins, community fundraiser for the NeuroMusuclar Centre, said: “Over the past five years, Wag ‘n’ Walk sponsored dog walk events across Cheshire have helped to raise over £7,000 for our charity.

“We hope you will support Wag ‘n’ Walk Delamere Forest and look forward to seeing all friendly dogs and owners there.”
