ACCOUSTIC tiles are to be placed at Barnton Memorial Hall, thanks to a grant of £3,770.
Trustee John Turnbull, pictured right, explained the reasoning behind applying for the Lottery Awards for All grant.
He said: "We have had a number of requests to see if we can reduce the echo in the hall to assist in hearing the spoken word clearly.
"By reducing the echo in the hall those who use hearing aids or the hearing loop will be better able to hear.
"The trustees are delighted with this award and we will install the acoustic tiles as soon as our busy schedule allows."
