HOLDERS Winsford United host Northwich Victoria in the Mid-Cheshire District FA Senior Cup semi finals tonight, kick off 7.45pm.
Blues, ahead of Tuesday night’s home North West Counties Premier Division 4-1 loss to high fliers Glossop North End, extended an unbeaten run in the league to 10 matches with Saturday’s goalless draw at Silsden.
It was Winsford’s third successive 0-0 stalemate, a sequence including last Tuesday’s draw against back-markers Bacup.
Vics arrive at Barton Stadium having conceded only once in their past six outings, all of which were wins and include a 1-0 success at fellow Evo-Stik First Division North title chasers Darlington 1883 at the weekend.
