SPARKS continue to lead the way in the Mid Cheshire League’s qualifying group stage following a whitewash of lowly Lemmings.
Victoria are a point adrift following a 7-3 win at Wolves, to who they conceded three sets as a result of only having two players available.
Champions Leopards thrashed Cobras, while, Crusaders could not take a set from Team Hut despite the best effort of Phil Monton.
He took Charlie Ostapski to a fifth set in which he succumbed 11-9.
Elsewhere, Raptors shared the spoils with Tigers following a draw.
In Group Two, Alan Lenton was unbeaten for Valiants in an 8-2 win against Kinetics.
Andy Edwards also avoided defeat for Bears, who beat Vikings by the same score.
Winsford Locke were held by Winnington Park Rangers, denting their hopes of making the cut for the Super League’s second tier.
Newcomers Middlewich High continue to struggle, losing 10-0 at Snakes.
